After many years of blog posts naturally coming through me, I decided to start blogging in November 2016. If I could do it full time, I would have weekly, if not daily posts, filling up my time. For now, I will have to do with the back log of posts that eagerly wait to reveal themselves.
In early February I was delighted to receive an email, informing me that I had been nominated as Best Blogger in Architecture! Architecture?! I thought there had been a mistake, perhaps, they meant Interior Design or Sustainability, but no, they meant Architecture.
The award is the JDR Industry Blogger Awards, now in its 8th year. Voting is open until April 24th and winning bloggers will be announced on April 28, 2017 and win $500!
This is very exciting, as I have been a closet writer since I was 21 years old.
In January 2017, I was chosen to be one of three writers for a writing fellowship at the Mesa Refuge, in Point Reyes Station. This honor and opportunity have left me with a bounty of creative juices flowing and an inexhaustible fire, that has since been growing within me.
A mere month after my retreat, my blog gets recognized.
They say, dance like no one is watching, I'd like to add, write like no one is reading!
Please help me win Best Blog in Architecture and vote here.
Thank you for helping my dreams come true!
